Recently, with the approval of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee, theChangsha Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission has initiated a case reviewand investigation of Changsha Bank Party Committee member and deputy governor.

After investigation, Meng Gang violated political discipline and opposedorganizing censorship. Those who violate the spirit of the eight centralregulations and illegally receive gifts and presents; violate organizationaldiscipline and do not truthfully reflect personal circumstances; violateintegrity laws and illegally hold shares of non-listed companies and engage inpower-money transactions; violate life discipline and seek happiness; Inviolation of national laws and regulations, illegal loans, illegalreimbursement of personal expenses, illegal possession and possession offirearms; use their own status to make profits for others, or accept hugeamounts of money and property alone or with others.

As a leading cadre of a state-owned enterprise party member, Meng Gang lost hisideals and beliefs, lost his sense of mission, was not loyal to the party,dishonesty, lawlessness, fear of people, lost his work style, unfaithfullyperformed his duties of supervising state-owned assets, and used his powers forpersonal gain. Damage to the rights and interests of state-owned assets, whichdid not stop after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,seriously violated the party's discipline, constituted a violation of the post,and was suspected of accepting bribes. According to the Regulations of theCommunist Party of China on Disciplinary Actions, the Supervision Law of thePeople's Republic of China, and other relevant regulations, after being studiedby the Standing Committee of the Disciplinary Committee of Changsha City andreported to the Changsha City Committee for approval, Meng Gang was fired fromthe party and fired. The illegal income was confiscated; the suspectedcrime was transferred to the procuratorate for examination and prosecution, andthe property involved was transferred with the case.
